Oxford University History Papers

Dear reader,

Last year, we embarked on a collaboration with our colleagues at the Oxford University History Society (OUHS). In the spring, the OUHS Journal published a book review from one of our editors (available here); now we are re-publishing three papers by Daniel Hubbard, Katherine Booska, and Ciara Garcha.

These authors worked with YHR editors over the summer to polish their already excellent essays. We are happy to be able to spotlight both the original versions and the results of the YHR editorial process.

It has been a real treat to get to know such passionate and thoughtful scholars. Journals do not exist in a vacuum – and neither does good scholarship.
